Crazy Taxi was the best game ever. I bought a Sega Dreamcast just to play this. Before that I’d go to the arcades that had sit down taxi versions of the game. It’s based on the amazing premise, you pick up a passenger and then you take them to where they’re going. Then you pick up another one and take THEM to where THEY’RE going. Then you pick up ANOTHER ONE! The game never has to end!
Racing fans, get ready for Need For Speed: Most Wanted to arrive on your iOS devices. The trailer is out now and it's obvious right away that this game looks fantastic. If we didn't know any better, it would be hard to tell this apart from the higher-octane versions on consoles.
Real Racing 2 is one of the baddest racing games you can buy the iPhone or iPad. Heck, for any system. The graphics are incredible and the racing is one of the purest driving experiences you can have. Developer The Firemonkeys are releasing a series of videos showing off the development of Real Racing 3.
The 10 best racing games is a list we loved putting together. Ranking them actually seems unfair because there isn't a loser in the bunch. The top three could go in any order, but we chose the ones we felt were the most fun to play. Which is dumb because all the games on this list are fun to play. There's something here for everyone -- top down racers, quarter-mile head-to-head racers and realistic racers. Whether you live your life a quarter mile at a time or not, you should be speeding towards the App Store and downloading these 10 best racing games.
Slingshot Racing sure made me appreciate how much gaming you can accomplish with a simple tap of the screen. The frustrations it adds can be even greater than a console game with full controls, and that may be part of the fun/challenge depending on how you see it.
Mad Skills BMX is a game I could really enjoy playing. I like the idea of it and I like the controls, but a few really bad decisions about the game play make it an infuriating experience.
